COVID19 Statement

Behr House Bed and Breakfast is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and clean stay for every guest.   Our cleaning regimen is designed to set a high standard of cleanliness.  We’ve created a cleaning checklist based upon recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).

Guest Rooms

Prior to guest arrival the guest rooms will be meticulously cleaned and then disinfected. Special attention will be given to all frequently touched surfaces. Linen will be washed at the highest heat settings established by the manufacturer. Mattress covers will be disinfected between uses and washed frequently. Pillow protector covers will be used and changed out prior to each new guest. Decorative throw pillows have been reduced. Hand sanitizer will be provided in each guest room for personal use.

Common Areas

All high touch surfaces, such as door knobs, will be cleaned and disinfected frequently throughout the day. Furniture will be rearranged or removed to allow more space for social distancing.

Food Safety

Food safety is high priority at Behr House. Hygiene and disinfecting practices are in place and the innkeepers trained on safe food preparation and service practices. Dining options are provided for breakfast so that guests may maintain social distancing. They may choose to eat at the large farmhouse table which would accommodate 2 sets of guests to be spaced 6’ apart, outside at one of three patio tables, weather permitting, or take a tray to their room.
