Just as boho implies, this suite is a carefree, relaxed mix of eclectic and fun furnishings and décor. There is the bedroom which boasts the original, and now rare, long-leaf pine floors with its queen-sized weathered pine platform bed and a separate sitting area with a colorful mid-century modern sofa for a relaxing space to sit and unwind at the end of the day. Sophie’s Suite offers a separate full bathroom next door with shower/bath and custom mahogany cabinetry and a vanity counter. This room can be booked separately or in conjunction with Emma’s Room, and in that case, would share the bathroom facilities with Sophie’s Suite. This is a great setup for girlfriends or mother/daughter guests.
NOTE: If you are tall of stature, you may want to select another of the rooms as the original door frames are not today’s standard height. The door frame into the suite from the hall is 6’2” and the door way from the sitting area to the bedroom is only 5’7”. The sloping ceilings would also pose some challenges for our taller guests. Sophie’s Suite can be booked by itself or in-conjunction with Emma’s Room which would share a bathroom.
